You know having these two as DLC, especially as the first two DLC characters, is an ascended meme of sorts. ("Are Marth and Roy in this game?") You KNOW it is. That and a nice dose of fanservice for both Japanese players (who seem far fonder of Marth and his endeavors than the West is) and Western ones, who were introduced to the series through Marth and Roy's presence in Super Smash Bros. Melee. In addition to its own new characters, Fire Emblem Awakening is also the debut appearance of several Jugdrali, Valentian and even Archanean/Akaneian characters in the West, in addition to featuring a playable Roy and members of his group, and all these alongside numerous characters from the games Western fans DID get, from Blazing Sword to Shadow Dragon and even the skipped-in-the-West New Mystery of the Emblem. The number of recruitable legacy characters appearing in various optional and downloadable content for this game totals to around 130. And you can have up to twenty of these characters join your merry band and fight alongside the new characters in the main game.
Now that that wall of text is over, this is a gorgeous picture. Especially the shine in the hair and eyes, lighting effects and color choice in general. Marth and Roy look pretty and youthful and full of vigor and personality.
Do you have a version with no watermark? Not trying to steal, but I'm making a theme for Google Chrome featuring a bunch of my favorite swordsmen from the Fire Emblem Series, I will give credit with links to your guys' DeviantArts.
North American release announced for early 2013... SO HAPPY~
And thank goodness I decided to search "Roy" in DA again or I never would've found this beauty! I think the artist who did Marth's design could've done a lot better, but man, whoever did Roy's design...love that freaking artist so mucheven though Roy's no longer a shota -sobs-
I already like the Marth you drew here better than the artist who did Marth's design! And Roy looks so cute here! Even though he's fighting, and it's probably inappropriate for me to say that.
So Marth and Roy are finally in the same Fire Emblem game huh? Nice. I haven't really played much Fire Emblem, except for Sacred Stones from the 3DS Ambassador VC, and a little bit of a demo for Shadow Dragon at an anime convention a few years ago. It's pretty good.
